I just spoke with Merin's Mom and here is the latest:
Scout's fever has not returned and the antibiotics seem to be working. Scout was fitted for the brace (for the hip displaca) this morning and instantly seemed calmer. They think that her hips have been hurting for a while and may have been contributing to her fussiness. She will be wearing the brace for 6 weeks. They are going to do a MRI today and some other neurological tests. The doctors at CHKD are very thorough and want to make sure that Scout is healthy before sending her home. As of now, they anticipate her being home Monday.
Kelly will be home tomorrow afternoon. Merin's mom is staying until Sunday.
We're just praying for a healthy little girl who gets to come home soon...
