I haven't been blogging lately, but my New Year's resolution is to get back to it. We went to the Picture People last night and had photos taken. Here are a few! :) And, my favorite of the kids:
We are in CA! The kids seemed to be happy and there are tons of other kids to play with on base. This is our first night with our new house (and no furniture). :)
I so needed a good laugh this morning... so much to do before the packers arrive on Thursday!!! :) Thank goodness that Papa is here to play with the kids this morning...
Our house is under contract! Beautiful words... under contract!!! The realtor called to let me know of the offer yesterday morning as I was cleaning and preparing in case someone wanted to see the house later. I was surprised and didn't want to get overly excited since the offer was what I considered too low. So, we countered this morning and they accepted. We signed the paperwork this afternoon. If all goes well, we'll be closing June 23. What a relief...
James has a birthday that just keeps going. He got a new gift from Aunt Karen, Uncle Ken and Cousin Elizabeth today... can you tell that he is happy?!?
Our friends, Trina and Derek, are in town and headed here right now! We are so excited to have them visit. What a great day!! :)
The day began with James opening his gift from GrandMary. And, since it is Friday he was able to wear this adorable outfit to school. I LOVED this Gymboree line... he has quite a few pieces from it!
We had friends over to celebrate with pizza for dinner. Evan and Caleb are just cute, cute little redheads!
A face that mommy loves... even with lots of pizza sauce!James went upstairs with Jemma and Mya just before dinner and reappeared dressed in this outfit. Gotta love having a big sister...Piper is an excellent eater!Colton... a new big brother and so, so cute!
There were only two men who could make the celebration and you could tell that there were kids who missed playing rough with their Daddies... poor Rob!
Then it was time for cake! Bloom has such fresh and yummy chocolate cake. There will be a pirate themed cake for James' party at MyGym later.
James requested cupcakes with sprinkles, so made a batch for the kids!
Just before bed, we skyped with GrandMary. She got James paints and brushes and art supplies... he opened them while we were skyping and then he and Jemma went to paint immediately! Thankfully, they were washable paints because there was a lot of paint on our newly painted walls!
And yes, James dressed up again after our guests left...
It's official... Jim is to report to Lemoore in July. I met with the realtor yesterday and our house is going on the market Monday. Progess is being made...
We took Daddy to the airport this morning. The kids had a wonderful time riding the escalator! Then, it was time for hugs and kisses!
Jemma took this picture of us:
We gave Daddy lots of hugs and kisses, then as Jim was walking away from us, James yells, "But I WANT to say goodbye to my Daddy!" Jim came back and gave James and Jemma more hugs and kisses. It is so hard to say goodbye...
We went straight from the airport to church. It was James first Sunday in Children's church (instead of the nursery) and he did really well. He is becoming my big boy... can't believe that he will soon be THREE!
