Oh, Boy!

I think I need to make sure that James plays with some other little boys soon! I was doing laundry and he did a perfect spin while saying, "Mommy, I a ballerina!" Too cute... wish I had the camera rolling...

My wonderful husband was selected as the CNAF (Commander Naval Air Forces) NFO (Naval Flight Officer) of the year today! I married a truly great guy!! :)

Jemma's first sleepover

Jemma was invited to spend the night with Mya last night. Mya has spent the night with us several times, but Jemma has never spent the night with one of friends. She took her backpack with Baby and her yellow sun blanket.

Merin said that Mya woke screaming from night terrors in the middle of the night. Jemma and Mya were sharing her bed. Merin heard Mya, went into the room, and Jemma was still asleep. Apparently, she sat up and looked at Merin, then rolled over and went back to sleep! Merin took Mya out of the room and Jemma continued to sleep. She gets her sleeping habits from her Mommy...

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Jemma was SO excited after school (notice the green St Patty's Day socks). She won musical chairs and won the prize. The prize was a little pink necklace and earrings with purse. James had to put the earrings on...

James is sick today... therefore, I have done nothing because whenever I try to do something, he says in this pitiful little voice, "Come sit on de couch wid me, Mommy..." How can I resist such sweetness?

Too quiet...

I heard clanging of metal... then there was complete silence... followed by the giggles of a big sister...

James decided to get the butter (clanging of metal) and try to eat it (silence) which Jemma thought was funny (giggles)...

Happy, happy, happy!

Jim screened for command yesterday! It was very competitive and we are so very happy that he was one of the four WSOs who screened!! Yippie!!!! Can you tell I'm happy?!? Next week starts the process of determining when and where he will get to go next.... Oceana (we so hope!), Lemoore or Japan (wouldn't that be an exciting adventure?)... we'll go wherever the Navy sends us! :)

Lolipop

Jemma came crying, "James got my lollipop stuck in my hair!"

I put her in the tub and washed her hair... the lollipop was thrown away! Never a dull moment...

Funnies!

All is well here... busy, busy, busy... and we are all missing Daddy. I just wanted to record/share some true and funny (at least I think so) things from the past few days.... pictures and more to follow later!

James and I are driving home from dropping Jemma at school. He says, "Mommy, can't hear." Then loudly, "CAN'T HEAR!" A moment of shear panic and the "what if" game begins in my head until I turn around and see that he is sticking his fingers in his ears... ***********************
I'm giving James a shower and Jemma is playing in the bathroom. She is having a conversation with herself, "I am packing to go to Granny's house. I have to pack because my husband does not know how. He doesn't know what the little kids need. I know everything that will keep them happy because I am the Mommy." I wonder if this is good or bad?!?
