Catch up...

Jim is flying late tonight, so I'm catching up!

Last Friday (3/7) was a little crazy. Kelly dropped Mya off early (7:30) because he had an important meeting at work and Merin was still at the hospital with Scout. No problem... the girls had fun getting ready and eating breakfast and I got them both off to school on time! Then, I volunteered to watch Claire for Amy starting at 11. (She took her boys to a birthday party at a LaserTag place... not a great place to take a 2 year old!) Claire is so easy to watch! She is such a sweet, easy-going little girl. James went down for his nap at 10, so Claire was playing with all of the toys and having a great time! The only little snag was when Merin asked me to pick Mya up from school. It was only a slight snag due to the whole carseat thing... thankfully, my neighbor agreed to watch James while I got the girls! Oh, how I love our neighbors!! :) The girls had played in Jemma's room for while, then Mya decided that she needed to color while Jemma and Claire continued. Anyway, the kids were playing great (here they are with the doctor's kit)until about 2:15... then exhaustion/whinning/bickering erupted. So, I did what any sanity-craving mom with a 1 year old, 2 year old, 3 year old and 4 year old would do... I turned on the Wiggles and we all danced! Here is James dancing:

At 2:45, Amy arrived and wisked Claire away for a nap. I covered Mya with a blanket on the couch although she was protesting (aka, whining and crying) that she was not tired. I took Jemma to her room and put her in bed. Then I nursed James and put him to bed. Mya promptly fell asleep and slept until we woke her at 5! James napped until 4:30. Jemma did not nap at all. Although she looks cute here in her Daddy's hat, she is very tired and went to bed early! And I crashed early, too!
