Jemma coughed and coughed last night... she was up for most of the night. I think it was finally about 3:30 when she settled into sleep next to me. Then it was 4:45 when my husband got home! :(
I decided to keep Jemma home from school, just in case it was something more than a cough. However, she played all day and didn't even take a nap! She still has a cough... I'm thinking that she may have allergies.
James was not himself today. He didn't want to eat or play and was not my normally happy little boy. I knew he was warm before I put him down for his nap this afternoon, but when he woke, he was HOT. I checked and he had a temperature of 104. I gave him a dose of Tylenol and turned TV on for Jemma so I could just hold and snuggle with him. About 6 pm, he was down to 101 and he drank pedialyte and ate some grapes. Then my little man started to act himself... he even did a little dance!
Right now, the kids are sleeping. My husband is flying late again... even after getting home at 4:45 AM, he still went into work at 9:15 this morning and worked all day then flew tonight. I don't know how he does it... I need sleep... in fact, I'm off to get some rest now!

Oh my! I hope the kids feel better soon. I'm with ya on the whole getting sleep. The only times I've worked all night I've not been fit to do much of anything the next day. Hopefully the coming weeks/months I'll figure out how to manage. ;-)
Oh, I feel so awful when the kids are sick. I hope they're on the mend quickly.
Poor Jim! I hope he gets some much needed sleep this weekend.
I am so sorry to hear about your sick kids. I can so relate...both boys have been sick for 2 weeks, and several nights they took turns being up all night. I pray your kids get better very soon and that you get the rest you need. My love to you all, Meredith
