Merin took Scout to CHKD this morning. Her seizures are continuing, even with an increase in medication. Merin said they gave her a powerful drug in the ER this morning, which made her sleep, but when she woke she had another seizure. Since being moved into their room, Scout has had 3 more seizures and her oxygen level dropped significantly with the last one. The neurologist said that they will have to adjust her medication until they can find a dosage/combination that will control the seizures.
And they did a chest x-ray and discovered that she has pneumonia!
Kelly is on his way home from NV and Merin's parents are coming in tomorrow. Please say a prayer for their family.
