Adventure

My cousin, Olivia, is engaged! :) I'm so, so excited for her and Jason. They got engaged on 9/20. Their wedding date is 10/31/09. She asked if I would go on an adventure to check out two possible reception sites for their wedding. So, after picking Jemma up from school, we went to Williamsburg. We visited both places and the kids were wonderful. James even flirted with the event planner at the second reception site! Although they were both beautiful, I loved the winding staircase and big wood porch with white columns at the second site.

And, it was a great excuse to visit with our friends Brien, Rachel and Lily. It has been too long since we have seen them! The kids had a blast playing outside and I hated to end the outside play, but the mosquitos were biting like crazy!

However, they have the BEST playroom and all three kids had such fun. While we were waiting for dinner (wonderful takeout that I totally pigged out on!), Jemma and Lily helped Rachel make chocolate chip cookies.

It was such a great trip! I think Rachel's post is wonderful...
